Chris Carleton
Chris' highlight reel is long and varied. He’s heading a team that’s redefining energy, storage and portable power. He spearheaded the rollout of the world's first massively multiplayer online videogame. He has introduced first-to-markets in security, wireless, network infrastructure, enterprise software and e-business services. But above all, clients hold Chris in high regard for his quick mind and the valued strategic counsel he provides. Prior to co-founding CHEN PR, Chris served as the top communications executive at Bay Networks (now part of Nortel), responsible for worldwide media and analyst relations programs for the $2 billion company. Earlier, he was a partner and vice president at Lois Paul & Partners; vice president of public communications with computer industry trade association ADAPSO (now the Information Technology Association of America); and a reporter. Chris earned his B.A. in Business Communications from Boston University.

Barbara Heffner
From start-ups seeking a sure and steady hand to guide them through the IPO process, to industry giants who count on her diplomacy to gain consensus and move swiftly, clients trust CHEN co-founder Barb Heffner. Her strategic skills and business savvy were honed at her own successful consulting practice and at Lois Paul & Partners, where she was a partner and vice president for eight years. Barb serves as a co-chair of the Boston Chapter of Room to Read. She earned a B.S. in Mathematics from Penn State and an M.S. in Science Journalism from Boston University.

Barbara Ewen
Clients have a formidable advocate in founding partner Barbara Ewen, whose network of press contacts is vast and whose thoroughness and tenacity are legendary. She leads teams in storage and enterprise software markets as well as managing overall CHEN PR operations.She has defined new markets in storage, enterprise software and networking hardware, driven programs for large publicly held companies and enabled start-ups such as Pirus Networks to capture the attention of future acquirers. Pre-CHEN, Barb was director of media and analyst relations globally for Bay Networks (now part of Nortel) and vice president of client services for Lois Paul & Partners. Her background also includes experience in advertising and marketing communications. She serves as a member of the Marketing Committee of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge. She is a graduate of Colby College.

Randy Wambold
Since joining CHEN PR in 1999, Randy has brought his keen insight and interpersonal skills to clients in diverse technology markets including enterprise software, open source and developer technology and programs; life sciences markets including EDC clinical trial software provider Phase Forward; and energy storage. Randy also played a leadership role in the agency’s long-standing relationship with Sun Microsystems, spearheading the expansion of the relationship to include multiple PR programs and industry analyst relations for nearly all of Sun’s software products. Previously, Randy was director of ISP marketing at an Internet start-up; channel marketing manager for an ISP; and a product marketing manager at Bay/Nortel Networks. Randy has a B.A. in English from Gordon College and an M.A. in English from The University of Massachusetts/Boston.

Kevin Kosh
Technologically astute and with a long track record of getting clients their “unfair share” of media coverage, Kevin helped establish CHEN PR’s security practice nearly a decade ago. He continues to lead that practice currently with multiple high-profile security innovators. One of CHEN PR’s first employees in 1996, Kevin has also applied his strategic counsel and creative energy to garner a significant amount of media coverage for clients large and small in storage, enterprise software, consulting services, network infrastructure and most recently, green materials. Prior to CHEN PR, Kevin spent four years at Lois Paul & Partners. Kevin has a B.A. in Communications from Boston College.
